Hi there, and welcome to bloomer’s blog!
I’m Juliana — baker, mom of two young kids, and part of the husband-and-wife team behind bloomer’s, our small-but-mighty plant-based bakery café that started in Toronto and has grown into something so much bigger than we ever imagined.
bloomer’s began with a simple dream: to create fresh, handmade vegan baked goods that taste just as incredible as the classics you grew up loving — no compromises. What started in a tiny kitchen has grown into a full-scale, 24/7 operation. Our ovens run through the night, so our signature vegan donuts hit the shelves fresh every single morning.
Today, you can visit bloomer’s in Toronto, Burlington, and Mississauga, where we serve plant-based donuts, pastries, bagels, sandwiches, coffee, and more — all made from scratch with the best ingredients and lots of love.
My husband and I run this business together, and while it’s a true labour of love, it’s also a commitment that never really stops. Running a small business while raising two young kids isn’t easy — not even close. Some nights we’re checking frying oil temperatures at 3am. Other mornings we’re juggling school lunches and supplier emails before our first sip of coffee.
But what keeps us going is the joy of it all — the smell of warm donuts, the first bite of something sweet and nostalgic, and the look on a customer’s face when they discover it’s 100% vegan and incredibly delicious.
At bloomer’s, we believe in consistency, quality, and community. Every donut and baked good is handmade with care, using only the best plant-based ingredients. Whether you're grabbing a treat from our Toronto, Burlington, or Mississauga café, or ordering a box for a celebration, we want every bite to feel like it was made just for you.
We’re proud to be part of the GTA’s vibrant plant-based food scene, offering some of the region’s best vegan donuts and gluten-free baked goods. But more than anything, we’re proud to be doing it as a small, family-run bakery café — powered by passion, purpose, and way too much coffee.
